Wioa ita. An ITA is a payment agreement established by a local workforce development board (local board) on behalf of a participant with a training provider and may be used to pay for any allowable type of training, as long as the Individual Training Accounts (ITA) comprise the majority of training services provided for Adults, Youth, and Dislocated Workers. PURPOSE This policy outlines WorkForce Central (WFC) directives for providing Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) for participants enrolled in WIOA-funded programs, including Out-of-School Youth (OSY) ages 16-24. PURPOSE The purpose of this policy is to outline the procedures and guidelines for the use of Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) and apprenticeships within the framework of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to ensure the provision of high-quality training services through programs listed on the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). Using ITA funds, WIOA eligible Adults, Dislocated Workers and OSY ages 16-24 purchase training services from eligible training providers they select in consultation with a WIOA Title I-B Service Provider. 1. The ITA is a payment agreement established on behalf of a participant with a training provider. The ITAs are individual training accounts awarded to WIOA eligible individuals which provide educational and occupational skills training services, with maximum funding limits set by the Local Workforce Development Funding Limits WIOA Title 1 ITA funding for tuition and fees, is limited to a maximum of $7,000 for up to six (6) quarters of training. Please note that other Workforce Development Boards may have ETPL policies which vary .
