I find that about half the time, my fish feeders won't dispense. They're active (no automation), have algae within them, have their filters set to dispense algae, are positioned right above the water . A reload will fix this although I think there was a workaround for this too (building a solid tile over them or something like that?). . Sometimes the visual on the top part of the feeder doesn't match how much food it actually has in it. However, it's apparently working anyway since the fish have the "ate from feeder" text showing, and this has been ongoing for a very long time.
